Mapping all Formula 1 Grand Prix Races

In this post I’ll show you a data visualization showing all of the Formula 1 Grand Prix that have taken place over the years. I’ve built it in Looker Studio.

You’ll be able to filter and view each race that’s taken place; from 1950’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone to the latest races in 2024.

Using the Looker Studio data visualization

You can use the various filters to explore the data.

You can filter by year, country, location, grand prix, winning team, and winning driver. Below is a video showing you how you can use the filters on the dashboard.

How can also explore the interactive Google Map which lets you explore the various race tracks across the world where F1 grand prix races occur.
