Looking at the X-Men franchise in Google Data Studio
The film Dark Phoenix was recently released to mediocre reviews and dismal earnings at the box office. It’s release, and subsequent failure to capture the imaginations of audiences or critics, most likely spells the end for the X-Men franchise under 20th Century Fox.
Hopefully the X-Men franchise has a phoenix-like resurrection of its own under the Disney/Marvel administration.
I thought it might be fun to take a look back the X-Men movies and look over the highs (X2, Days of Future Past, Logan) and lows (The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Apocalypse).
And what better way to play around with the data than Google Data Studio?
I remember watching the second X-Men movie (X2) in 2003. I watched it with my mom at the old (and now demolished) Blue Route mall in Tokai, Cape Town. Not expecting too much I was impressed by it and always had a soft-spot for the X-Men films since then.
Hope you enjoyed reading and playing around with the Data Studio!
